Tamil Nadu Weather: Heavy Rains Till April 15

The IMD has predicted moderate to light rain in Tamil Nadu till April 15.

The IMD said Chennai is expected to have cloudy skies with a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius.

The weather office said the rains will be due to fluctuating wind directions in the upper and lower layers of the atmosphere.

Amid heatwaves, the rains in Tamil Nadu will bring down the temperature in the next few days.

The IMD has also predicted rainfall for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathawada, Maharashtra till April 13.

Moreover, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar and Andaman & Nicobar Islands will also witness rainfall till April 13.

Rainfall, thunderstorms also predicted for Telangana, Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka as well till April 15.

IMD said Andhra Pradesh-Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will witness heavy rain till April 15.

Thunderstorms, lightning also expected in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana from April 13.

Hailstorms predicted for Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana- Chandigarh, and Rajasthan on April 13.
