The Election Commission of India(ECI) has announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha polls. The polls will be held in 7 phases, beginning from April 19, 2024.

Phase 1 elections will be held on April 19, Phase 2 elections will be held on April 26, Phase 3 elections will be held on May 7, Phase 4 elections will be held on May 13, Phase 5 elections will be held on May 20, Phase 6 elections will be held on May 25, and Phase 7 elections will be held on June 1.
Counting of votes will be held on June 4.
Recently, TMC announced the candidate list for all 42 Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal.

Azad won the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections from Darbhanga.
The former cricketer, is a graduate from St Stephen's College, Delhi University.
