The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall for Mumbai city and issued a yellow alert till July 26.
Several parts of Mumbai received heavy rainfall on Tuesday and many areas were waterlogged.
The weather office said heavy rainfall in many parts of Mumbai is likely to continue for the rest of the day.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in Mumbai are likely to remain around 28°C and 24°C.
In the meantime, the IMD has issued red alert for Maharashtra till July 24.
Apart from Mumbai, the IMD also issued yellow alert for Thane, Nandurbarh, Nasik, Palghar, Amravati, Akola.
Heavy rains caused widespread waterlogging and traffic disruptions in Mumbai since Saturday.
The IMD also issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and predicted heavy rainfall on Monday.
The Met Department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai city on July 23.
