119 km Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway project on NH-275 is an operational 6 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment in Karnataka.
The Bangalore-Mysore Expressway features 49 underpasses, 69 bus bays, 13 overpasses and fencing on both sides of the access-controlled, six-lane road.
This expressway will include a greenfield bypass. These bypasses will allow commuters to avoid all major towns, providing a direct and efficient route between Bangalore and Mysore.
The 56.2 km first phase connects Bangalore to Nidaghatta, starting from Panchamukhi Ganapathi Temple on NICE Road.
The second phase extends from Nidaghatta to Mysore. Covering a road length of 61.1 km.
The distance between the two cities is around 144 km via NH275 and around 160 km via NH948. NH 275 is the quickest way to get from Bangalore to Mysore and will require about 4 hours.
The expressway will significantly reduce travel time between Bangalore and Mysore from approximately three hours to about 90 minutes.
