UP Bypoll Results 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is won in 7 out of 9 Assembly seats in the Uttar Pradesh bypolls. The results showcase BJP’s continued dominance, with notable wins across key constituencies. In a significant victory for the Samajwadi Party (SP), Naseem Solanki retained the Sishamau seat by defeating BJP’s Suresh Awasthi with a margin of 8,564 votes. Solanki secured 69,714 votes, achieving a vote share of 52.36%, while Awasthi garnered 61,150 votes.

Another highlight for SP was Tej Pratap Yadav’s win in the Karhal constituency, where he defeated BJP’s Anujesh Pratap Singh by over 15,000 votes. Yadav secured over 1.02 lakh votes compared to Singh’s 88,670. On the BJP front, Sanjeev Sharma claimed a resounding victory in the Ghaziabad seat, defeating SP’s Singh Raj Jatav by more than 69,000 votes. Similarly, Surender Diler of BJP triumphed in the Khair constituency with a decisive margin of 38,983 votes over SP’s Charu Kain.

In Meerapur, NDA ally Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) is leading with a margin of 22,730 votes over SP’s Sumbul Rana.

These results reaffirm BJP’s stronghold in Uttar Pradesh, while SP has shown resilience in select constituencies.
