Amid heightened military tensions between India and Pakistan following India’s precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, reports suggest that Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been moved to a high-security underground facility and is reportedly hiding in a bunker. Security measures around key government figures, including PM Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir, have been significantly intensified after explosions were reported near high-security zones in Islamabad. Although there has been no official confirmation from Pakistan’s government regarding the Prime Minister’s current location, sources indicate that precautionary protocols have been activated in view of possible retaliatory actions or further escalations.
The move reportedly comes following widespread blackouts and drone sightings in Pakistani airspace, as well as intercepted drone and missile attacks on Indian soil, including Jammu and Jaisalmer. Pakistani authorities are believed to have placed all major cities under heightened alert and enhanced surveillance to prepare for any contingencies.
