PSL 2025 has been shifted to UAE with immediate effect. The last 8 matches of 10th edition of PSL 2025 were supposed to take place in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore, will now be held in UAE.
PCB have shifted PSL 2025 to UAE for mental well-being of cricketers. PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the decision was 'to ensure the mental well-being of all players participating'. "Like in the past, we hope that our stakeholders will rally with us to further the best interests of the tournament, our players and the fans. We are committed to ensuring that the league continues to thrive," he said.
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium has been damaged by drone attack, according to media reports. Rawalpindi stadium is just a few kilometres away from Pakistan capital city of Islamabad.
PCB are yet to announce remaining schedule of PSL 2025 edition. Lahore Qalandars were set to face Peshawar Zalmi on Friday.
PSL 2025 has four league stage matches remaining before Playoff matches begin on Tuesday (May 13).
PSL 2025 matches have been shifted due to heightened India-Pakistan border tension after India's 'Operation Sindoor' earlier this week.
