Sharing a post on Instagram, the 38-year-old batter wrote, “Hello everyone, I would just like to share that I am retiring from Test cricket. It’s been an absolute honour to represent my country in whites. Thank you for all the love and support over the years. I will continue to represent India in the ODI format.”

Samaira, the daughter of Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh, goes to the Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS), which is run by the Ambanis. The school was established in 2003. Dhirubhai Ambani International School is a K-12 co-educational International Day School.
