Gujarat Titans moved a step closer to securing a place in the playoffs with a 38-run triumph over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their IPL clash on Friday.
After being asked to bat first, captain Shubman Gill led from the front with a brisk 76 off 38 balls, followed by Jos Buttler’s impactful 64 from 37 deliveries.
In response, Abhishek Sharma powered SRH with a strong start, scoring 74, but Gujarat’s bowling unit restricted the visitors to 186 for 6.
