New Delhi: In a significant move to enhance railway travel in India, the government has launched the country’s first non-stop train service. The non-stop train service ‘Duronto’ will have AC and non-AC sleepers and will run between select cities throughout the country. The Duronto Express is a high-speed train service in India that connects major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The trains are air-conditioned and have sleeper classes.

Here are some of the key features of Duronto Express:

  • The trains have yellow-green livery.
  • Some Duronto Express trains run faster than the Rajdhani Express, which is considered the fastest long-distance train in India.

  • New Delhi-Jammu Tawi Non stop (Tri-weekly)
  • Howrah-Mumbai (AC) Non stop (Bi-weekly)
  • Mumbai-Ahmedabad (AC) Non stop (Tri-weekly)
  • Chennai-Delhi Non Stop (Bi-weekly)
  • New Delhi-Lucknow Non Stop (Tri-weekly)
  • Delhi-Pune (AC) Non Stop (Bi-weekly)
  • Howarh-Delhi Non Stop (Bi-weekly)
  • New Delhi-Allahabad Non Stop (Tri-weekly)
  • Sealdah-New Delhi Non Stop (Bi-weekly)
  • Kolkata-Amritsar Non Stop (Bi-weekly)
  • Bhubaneswar-Delhi Non Stop (weekly)
  • Ernakulam-Delhi Non Stop (weekly)
