New Delhi: Simple Energy has introduced the Simple OneS electric scooter, priced at ₹1,39,999 (ex-showroom). The scooter boasts an impressive IDC range of 181 km, making it ideal for both city and rural commuting. It is available across 15 showrooms in cities including Bangalore, Goa, Pune, and Hyderabad. The launch of the OneS marks a significant step in Simple Energy’s push to expand its electric vehicle offerings.

The Simple OneS is powered by an 8.5kW PMSM motor paired with a 3.7 kWh fixed battery, offering a top speed of 105 km/h. The scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.55 seconds in its Sonic mode. It comes equipped with four riding modes: Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic, providing a flexible riding experience. The OneS is available in four colors—Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red—and offers 35 liters of under-seat storage and a seat height of 770 mm for enhanced comfort.

The scooter also features a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and over-the-air updates. Additional features like a 5G e-SIM, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), regenerative braking, and Park Assist for easier maneuvering in tight spaces are included. The OneS integrates modern technology to improve rider convenience and safety.

Simple Energy’s manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, has a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year. In February 2025, the company also launched the Gen 1.5 version of the Simple One, extending its IDC range to 248 km. As part of its growth strategy, Simple Energy plans to expand its presence with 150 new stores and 200 service centers across 23 states, streamlining its portfolio to focus on the OneS and the Gen 1.5.
