Mitchell Marsh c Shimron Hetmyer b Jofra Archer 4 6 0 0 66.67
2.2
Jofra Archer to Mitchell Marsh, OUT! CAUGHT! Shimron Hetmyer takes an excellent catch while running forward, and the dangerous Mitchell Marsh is gone for 4(6). Jofra bowls it into the pitch and short of a length touch outside off, gets a bit of an extra bounce off the deck. Mitchell Marsh goes on the back foot and shapes up for a pull shot. He mistimes his shot off the bottom part of the bat as he ends up getting a top edge towards deep backward square leg. Shimron Hetmyer runs forward a decent yard and takes a good catch while sliding across.
Aiden Markram c Riyan Parag b Wanindu Hasaranga 66 45 5 3 146.67
15.5
Wanindu Hasaranga to Aiden Markram, OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! CAUGHT! A big, big wicket for Rajasthan Royals this as Wanindu Hasaranga snags his second wicket and brings out his signature celebration. Wanindu provides more revs on the ball and pitches it wide outside the off stump line. It lands, grips and turns away. Aiden Markram leans to smash it over cover, but is early into his shot, and mistimes it straight to Riyan Parag at long off. Parag is not dropping these dollies. Aiden Markram departs for 66 (45). Hasaranga breaks this 76-run stand as LSG are 130/4. But a brilliant knock from Markram whatsoever.
Nicholas Pooran lbw b Sandeep Sharma 11 8 2 0 137.5
5.2
Sandeep Sharma to Nicholas Pooran, OUT! LBW! A superb response from Sandeep Sharma! He gets rid of the dangerous Nicholas Pooran and Shubham Dubey will be a relieved man as his drop does not cost them much. This is a perfect yorker from around the wicket, on middle, angling in as well. Pooran takes a couple of steps forward and looks to slog it across the line, but misses it completely and gets hit on the pads. There is a huge appeal for LBW, and up goes the finger without hesitation. Pooran has a chat with his partner and takes the review. The replay clearly confirms no bat involved, and Ball Tracking comes up with three reds. LSG lose their star batter and the review as well. Nicholas Pooran departs on 11 (8).
Rishabh Pant (C) (W) c Dhruv Jurel b Wanindu Hasaranga 3 9 0 0 33.33
7.4
Wanindu Hasaranga to Rishabh Pant, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! A fantastic reflex catch behind the stumps, and Rajasthan Royals get another massive wicket. Wanindu Hasaranga dishes out a googly, full and on off, turns away a bit. Rishabh Pant gets into position for the reverse sweep but loses his balance and only manages to get an outside edge. The ball hits Dhruv Jurel, the keeper, on his chest and pops up. Jurel fumbles a couple of times but grabs it on the third attempt, showing good awareness. Pant walks back cheaply, and LSG are 54/3 now!
Ayush Badoni c Shubham Dubey b Tushar Deshpande 50 34 5 1 147.06
17.3
Tushar Deshpande to Ayush Badoni, OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! TAKEN! A fifty and out for Badoni! Back of a length, a slower one, and just outside off, skidding through the surface quickly. Ayush Badoni stands tall and tries to loft it over the point region, but ends up mistiming it in the air. The ball sails straight into the hands of Shubham Dubey at deep point. Dubey initially takes a few steps forward, but sooner positions himself well to take it with a reverse cup, moving a bit backward. Ayush Badoni departs on 50 (34). LSG are 143/5.

Batting R B 4s 6s SR
Yashasvi Jaiswal b Avesh Khan 74 52 5 4 142.31
17.1
Avesh Khan to Yashasvi Jaiswal, OUT! KNOCKED HIM OVER! Avesh Khan provides the much-needed breakthrough for LSG, and this opens up a small window for them! He bowls a well-delivered yorker, around off, gets it to shape away in the air a bit as well. Yashasvi Jaiswal backs away and ends up exposing all the sticks, trying to carve it to the off side. He misses the line and the ball goes past his bat to rattle the stumps. Could this be the moment for LSG? Yashasvi Jaiswal departs for a fantastic knock of 74 (52).
Vaibhav Suryavanshi st Rishabh Pant b Aiden Markram 34 20 2 3 170
8.4
Aiden Markram to Vaibhav Suryavanshi, OUT! STUMPED! Quite slick from Rishabh Pant behind the stumps! A wicket LSG needed it the most! A bit slower through the air from Markram, drifting into the stumps, on the leg stump, and then turning away off the deck. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is flummoxed by the turn as he tries to work it away with the spin, but plays inside the line of the ball. Gets beaten on the outside edge. Rishabh Pant collects the ball in his mitts and whips the bails off. Vaibhav Suryavanshi tries to plonk his back foot into the popping crease, but it is marginally in the air, when the stumps are broken by Pant. The same is confirmed by the third umpire. OUT loads on the big screen. But what a special debut knock from Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He departs for an entertaining 34 (20). RR are 85/1.
Nitish Rana c Avesh Khan b Shardul Thakur 8 7 0 1 114.29
9.6
Shardul Thakur to Nitish Rana, OUT! GONE! CAUGHT! The one ball mistimed by Rana went for a six, but this one, timed a tad bit well, but straight into the hands of the fielder! Rajasthan Royals lose two quick wickets and slip to 94/2 from 85/0. Short-pitched delivery by Shardul, a slower one by the looks of it, just below the chest height, on the bodyline, Nitish Rana is early into the shot. He swivels to pull behind deep square leg, but ends up sailing it straight down the throat of the fielder at deep fine leg. Avesh Khan takes a regulation catch in the deep.
Riyan Parag (C) lbw b Avesh Khan 39 26 3 2 150
17.6
Avesh Khan to Riyan Parag, OUT! LBW! Avesh Khan has turned the tide a bit in favour of LSG with this double whammy! Though Parag has taken a review out of the hope of getting away! A fuller ball, around middle, gets it to nip back in a bit as well, Riyan Parag shuffles across and looks to ramp it over fine leg. He falls over in the process and misses the line of the ball as he gets beaten on the inside edge. The ball pings him on the front pad, and Avesh makes an appeal instantly. The umpire raises his finger. The third umpire checks, and there is no bat involved. The Ball Tracking comes up with three reds, and Parag will have to go back as he also burned a review. Quite needless, to say the least, from Parag.
Dhruv Jurel (W) not out 6 5 0 0 120
Shimron Hetmyer c Shardul Thakur b Avesh Khan 12 7 2 0 171.43
19.3
Avesh Khan to Shimron Hetmyer, OUT! GONE! Shardul Thakur holds onto that one, and Shimron Hetmyer is gone with RR still needing 6 off the last three balls! Avesh bowls it much fuller and on the pads, not giving any room to the batter. Hetmyer stays deep-rooted in his crease as he looks to flick it. He makes a good connection but finds the fielder at square leg. Thakur takes it with ease. The field position was bang on from the skipper Rishabh Pant, and LSG have got the wicket as Thakur has come in here just before this ball.
