The year 2024 saw some of the biggest and most expensive films in Indian cinema history. Interestingly, two of these high-budget films came from Tollywood. Here’s a look at the complete list of the priciest Indian films of the year!
Pushpa 2 comes second with a massive budget of Rs 500 crore. The high costs included not just the actors' fees, but also the large-scale production.
The Greatest Of All Time - The GOAT was reportedly made on a budget of 400 crore, with half of the cost going into Thalapathy Vijay’s remuneration.
Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is the most expensive film on the list, with a budget of 350 crore.
Ajay Devgn-led Singham Again was made in Rs 340 crore. It also featured Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Arjun Kapoor.
Suriya’s Kanguva carried a budget of Rs 300-350 crore. Kanguva also features Bobby Deol.
Devara: Part 1 features N. T. Rama Rao Jr in dual roles, alongside Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth. It is made in a budget of Rs 300-350 crores
Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan was made on a budget of 300 crore.
Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter is also on the list with a budget of 250 crore.
Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 reportedly had a budget of 250 crore
