Delhi-NCR experienced a refreshing spell of rain on Thursday morning, providing much-needed relief from the dense fog that had enveloped the region a day earlier. The rainfall cleared the air, reducing the thick fog that had disrupted visibility and daily activities on January 15. The rain also brought a drop in temperatures, with the minimum settling near 10 degrees Celsius and the maximum around 17 degrees Celsius. The weather department has forecast light rain and dense fog, with cloudy skies throughout the day on Thursday. It also predicted that this trend will continue, with temperatures expected to dip further on Friday, keeping Delhi-NCR in the grip of chilly weather.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had earlier forecast rain for January 15 and 16. The showers acted as a natural cleanser, offering residents a reprieve with cleaner air amidst the winter season.
