New Delhi – Google has officially launched its latest A-series smartphone, the Pixel 9a, in India. Priced at Rs 49,999, the new device promises significant upgrades in design, camera, display, and battery life, making it a compelling option in the mid-premium smartphone segment.
The Pixel 9a sports a refreshed design and features the brightest display ever seen on a Pixel A-series phone. It is available in three color variants — Iris, Porcelain, and Obsidian.
Photography gets a major boost with a new dual rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens. Google claims the Pixel 9a offers the best battery life among all Pixel devices currently available.
The device also comes integrated with Google’s AI-powered Gemini, enabling smarter assistance across apps like Google Maps, Calendar, and YouTube. Gemini Live allows for seamless, real-time conversations, enhancing user interaction and productivity.
The Pixel 9a is now available for purchase through both online and offline retail channels. As part of a launch promotion, customers can avail a limited-time cashback of Rs 3,000 and opt for up to 24 months of no-cost EMI through select banking and financial partners including HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, and Bajaj Finserv.
