The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed how students can request post-result services, making the process more transparent and student-friendly. Under the new system, students will now be able to first request photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets. Only after reviewing these can they decide whether to go for mark verification, re-evaluation, or both. This is a shift from the earlier process, where students had to first apply for mark verification, then request answer sheet photocopies, and finally opt for re-evaluation.
CBSE explained that this change is aimed at helping students make better decisions. By seeing their evaluated copies first, students can understand how marks were awarded, read any remarks from examiners, and spot any potential errors before requesting a review.
The board stated, “Once a student gets a copy of their evaluated answer sheet, they can then choose to apply for verification (to check if marks have been added up correctly or if any answers were left unchecked) or go for re-evaluation (where specific answers are re-checked), or even do both — depending on what they find.”
CBSE will release detailed instructions for this updated process after the Class 10 and 12 results are declared.
As of now, the board hasn’t confirmed the exact date or time for the 2025 results, but both Class 10 and 12 results are expected to be released on the same day.
Once the CBSE board results are declared, students will be able to check their marks through multiple platforms:
