This 2024 film was a remake of a hit film in Tamil. With a sold script and a star-studded cast this film did wonders in Kollywood. After eight years this same film was made in Hindi, however, it turned out to be the biggest disaster at the box office. The film we are talking about is none other than Baby John which was released on on 25 December on the occasion of Christmas Day. The film was released amid the blockbuster running of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. Many may not know that Baby John was produced by Atlee, who was the original director of Theri, starring Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Prabhu, and Amy Jackson. According to media reports, Baby John was reportedly made with a whopping budget of Rs 160 crore, and 12 days after its release the film is yet to cross the Rs 40 crore mark.
