New Delhi: Israel will spend 3.5 lakh rupees to kill a Muslim in Gaza. Actually, Israel has made a new deal with the USA regarding the purchase of weapons. Under this deal, Israel will get weapons worth $8.8 billion (about Rs 7500 crore) from the USA.
The US has given these weapons to Israel to deal with the ongoing crisis in Gaza. The war between Israel and Gaza’s Hamas has been going on since October 2023. About 60,000 Palestinian Muslims have been killed in the war.
US media reported that this supply of weapons to Israel will be done for a long time. Some of the weapons will be supplied to Israel from the US stockpile, but most will take a year or more to deliver.
The US is supplying 155 mm artillery shells and Hellfire AGM-114 missiles to Israel which are used in attack helicopters. Apart from this, 250 kg of deadly bombs will also be given to Israel. These bombs have been used extensively by Israel from Gaza to Lebanon.
The population of Gaza is close to 21 lakh. This raises the question of whether the weapons purchased by Israel from America will be used to kill the people of Gaza. Israel is continually being accused of attacking hospitals and schools in Gaza.
Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that their aim is to occupy half of Gaza. The Israeli army is advancing in this direction. The role of Iran with reference to these weapons has not been confirmed yet. The American Senate has approved this in light of the Gaza crisis.
However, given the tension between Iran and America, an Iran connection cannot be ruled out. Israel is also preparing to attack Iran, say reports. In this context, it is being said that America may have sold Israel weapons worth around 7500 crores rupees to attack Iran.
