Operation Sindoor: Schools, colleges, in Punjab to remain shut after India’s military strike

After India's military attack, several educational institutions have been closed.

In a historic tri-service operation, the Indian army, navy and air force conducted precision military strikes on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan during the early hours of Wednesday, May 7, 2025. The military strike comes after Pahalgam attack in which 26 civilians were killed on April 22. In view of the escalating tensions, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, announced closure of all educational institutions in the state.
