Bengaluru’s elite class lives in luxurious areas like Sadashiva Nagar, Indiranagar, Koramangala, Lavelle Road, and Jayanagar. However Premji has chosen Whitefield to build his house. As per a September 2023 report by Housing.com, the estate is of around half an acre and the house is built in 6,000-square-foot. It is designed by BNA Balan and Nambisan architects. It is worth Rs 350 crores according to various media reports.
The home has classic brick-and-stone farmhouse designs with high ceilings and pitched roofs made with modern designs. The east-facing has minimalist brick with a dry landscape and the west-facing side is full of lush green vegetation set against striking stone cladding. It maintains a balance between nature and architecture.
Premji’s home also focuses on sustainability. It is made up of rescued and refurbished materials to reduce its environmental impact.
Azim Premji’s net worth as of April 27, 2025 was worth $11.8 billion. He donated $21 billion to charitable causes. In 2001, he established the Azim Premji Foundation, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to improving education in rural India.
