Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor is an Indian film actor born on December 24, 1959, to Surinder Kapoor and Nirmal Kapoor. He did his schooling from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School and St Xavier's College in Mumbai. Anil Kapoor married Sunita in 1984 and they have three kids, actress Sonam Kapoor, producer Rhea Kapoor and actor Harshvardhan Kapoor. Anil Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with Hamare Tumhare as a supporting actor in 1979, but it was Woh 7 Din that established him as a lead actor. He also starred in south Indian films at the beginning of his career. Today, Anil Kapoor is one of the most respected actors in India, and even Hollywood and British cinema, where he starred in an important role in the Oscar Award-winning Danny Boyle film Slumdog Millionaire and the Tom Cruise film Mission Impossible 4 aka Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Anil Kapoor's best films include Woh 7 Din, Mashaal, Yudh, Saheb, Chameli Ki Shaadi, Meri Jung, Ram Lakhan, Mr India, Tezaab, Beta, Kishan Kanhaiya, Lamhe, Judaai, Nayak, Virasat, Pukar, 1942: A Love Story, Biwi No.1, My Wife's Murder, and many more. With films like Welcome, No Entry and Welcome Back, he showed his humorous side. Apart from his Hollywood foray, Anil Kapoor also made his international television debut in Kiefer Sutherland's 24 where he played the president of an Arab nation. Thereafter, Anil Kapoor secured the India rights for 24 and made it in Hindi for Indian television (two seasons). He played the main role of Jack Bauer (originally Kiefer Sutherland) in the Indian version. Mubarakan is the 2017 release of Anil Kapoor, where he stars with his nephew Arjun Kapoor.
