Shehnaaz Gill

Shehnaaz Kaur Gill is an Indian actress, model and singer who came into the limelight prominently during her stint in reality television show Bigg Boss 13. She is also known for starring in Punjabi movies, with her first mentioned acting venture being Sat Shri Akaal England in 2017.

After starting her career as a model, featuring in various songs like Shiv Di Kitaab in 2015 and Majhe Di Jatti in 2016, Shehnaaz, who is popular among her followers as Sana Gill and Shehnaz Sana, went on to appear in more music videos.

MOVIES:

Where movies are concerned, Shehnaaz's next venture was Kala Shah Kala, a 2019 Punjabi romantic comedy, which starred Binnu Dhillon, Sargun Mehta, and Jordan Sandhu in the lead. The next movie she featured in was Daaka, which was another Punjabi comedy that starred Gippy Grewal, Zareen Khan, and Rana Ranbir.

TELEVISION:

Shehnaaz participated in reality television show Bigg Boss 13, joining the other contestants September 2019. Due to her bubbly nature, she was deemed an entertainer and lasted in the house till the finale which happened after 140 days. She was crowned second runner-up after Sidharth Shukla was announced the winner, and Asim Riaz the first runner-up. Her next television appearance was in 2020 on the Indian dating reality television series Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.

MUSIC:

As a singer, Shehnaaz has four songs to her name, Veham, Range, and Ronda Ali Peti which were released in 2019, and Sidewalk, which was released in 2020. Apart from that, she has featured in 21 music videos from 2015 till 2019.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Shehnaaz Kaur Gill was born in Beas, Amritsar to Parminder Kaur Gill and Santokh Singh Sukh, and she has one brother. She studied at the Dalhousie Hilltop School, Dalhousie and later did her B.Com from the Lovely Professional University in Punjab.
