Top 10 Indian Institutions according to World University Rankings 2025

Times Higher Education has released the list of World University Rankings 2025.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is ranked at the top institution in India, as it globally ranks in the range of 251-300

Anna University takes the second spot, followed by Mahatma Gandhi University in third as their global rank ranges from 401-500.

Securing global rank between 401-500, Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences, Bajhol, comes in fifth place.

IIT Indore holds the position of the sixth-best institution in India.

Ranking in the range of 501-600, Jamia Millia Islamia secures the seventh spot, while UPES holds eighth position.

Securing rank between 601-800, Aligarh Muslim University ranks ninth, and Amity University, Noida becomes tenth best institute of India.
