Check Telangana Weather Update Today

The IMD has issued a heat wave alert for many districts of Telangana.

IMD Hyderabad said temperatures may touch 44 degrees Celsius this week.

The affected districts include Peddapalle, J. Bhupally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem.

Other districts that will be affected by heatwave include Khammam, Suryapet, and Nalgonda.

As per the TSDPS, highest maximum temperature was recorded at 42.7 degrees Celsius in Bhadradri Kothagudem.

Amid heatwave alert, the Telangana Transportation Corporation scaled down the bus services in Greater Hyderabad.

IMD said maximum temperatures have crossed 40°C in all 33 districts of Telangana.

The IMD has also issued a yellow alert forecasting a heatwave on April 17 and 18.

The IMD said low-level south-easterly winds prevailed over the state and dry weather will continue for next five days.

Bhadradri Kothagudem inTelangana has recorded highest maximum temperature at 44.5°C.

Mulugu and Nalgonda recorded maximum temperature at 43.8°C.
